Introducing H.O.M.E. Groups

(Homes Open for Ministry and Encouragement)

GCC continues to believe in the importance of small groups for all who are active in the life of this fellowship. In cooperation with our desire to see Faith emphasized first and foremost in the HOME, we are changing the name of our small groups’ ministry and making necessary adjustments to swing open the door to small groups, making them homes open to your neighbors, friends and those God encourages you to invite. Several new people are being equipped to facilitate groups this fall. You are invited to attend a training session this coming Sunday evening, July 31st, from 5:30-8:00 p.m. in the Heritage Room if you are interested in facilitating a H.O.M.E. Group. Contact Craig to reserve space to be a part of this training session. (child care provided for those who reserve space.)

On Sundays, July 31st and August 7th, ALL will be encouraged to indicate an interest in participating in a GCC H.O.M.E. Group this school year. While a few groups will continue into this new year of ministry, most groups will be re-organizing and/or getting a fresh start, following a Word-directed model where the text we are studying on Sunday morning becomes the topic of conversation and subject for application in the H.O.M.E. Group during the week.
